The project

Changing our behaviour to safeguard life for everyone on Planet Earth

An ecological (and social) transformation of our way of life is necessary if we are to reduce climate-altering gas emissions to zero and enable the survival of living species on Earth. The impacts of climate change and of our current way of producing and consuming are very serious due to the dizzying acceleration of the pace of withdrawal of natural resources (water, land, virgin territories, metals, minerals…), of living beings (terrestrial and aquatic forests with their animals, mushrooms…) essential to life and to the ecosystem balances of which we are also an integral part. The time has come to make room for sustainable and responsible human activities that respect the rights and aspirations of all, starting with the most deprived and the Earth’s native peoples living in territories rich in fossil deposits and other natural resources, wild flora and fauna that are today in serious decline. The ERASMUS+/Adult Education project ‘Resilient Ecological Transformation’ seeks to provide and network information, ideas, experiences and practices implemented in our European cities and territories.
